William Beyer, Founder & Managing Director
As the founder and managing director of the Life Science Training Institute (LSTI), Bill has overseen the training of over 200,000 pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech personnel over the last six-plus years.
Prior to founding LSTI, Bill was the marketing director for the Center for Professional Innovation & Education (CfPIE), where he developed eight industry-recognized certification programs on topics ranging from pre-clinical discovery to GxP compliance.
Earlier in his career, Bill was a training sales manager for Learning Tree International and advertising sales manager for FDAnews.
While serving as the Director of Graduate Programs, Bill helped develop and run The Princeton Review’s GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, and USMLE Step 1 & 2 preparation courses.
When he is not running LSTI, Bill likes to spend quality time with his wife and two children and practice being a horrible fisherman.
Rebecca Britt, Senior Manager of Instructional Design and Course Development
Rebecca is responsible for the design, development, and management of LSTI’s training solutions. She produces online-learning content (web-based training, micro learning content, job aids, etc.), collaborates with subject matter experts who deliver virtual training, and enables us to provide the perfect training solutions to our clients.
Before joining LSTI, Rebecca was a Senior Instructional Designer with Prudential. For more than 15 years she was a freelance instructional designer and graphic/web designer for pharmaceutical and financial institutions throughout the Delaware Valley. Rebecca also spent several years as an adjunct professor at Temple and Philadelphia University.
In her spare time Rebecca participates in Spartan Races, rock climbs, and knits. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, son Sean, and daughters Erin and Elliott.
